Lorde has released her first new music (outside of “Yellow Flicker Beat,” a single on the third Hunger Games film soundtrack which she also curated), since her 2013 debut album ‘Pure Heroine’.

“Green Light” is the first official single to be taken from her upcoming sophomore album ‘Melodrama’. The song has similarities in sound to that of Carlie XCX and Birdie and is a lot more upbeat than her previous offerings.
