Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke has announced his new album will be titled ‘Fatherland’ and will be released on October 6th. The news comes with the first offering from the record in the way of the Acoustic beauty that is Streets Been Talkin’.
Kele said of the new album that it’s “the most mature and musically adventurous chapter” of his career. ‘Fatherland’ is the third solo offering from Okereke and will feature collaborations with Corinne Bailey Rae and Years & Years’ Olly Alexander.
Of the new single Kele says “Streets Been Talkin’ was one of the first tracks I wrote for the album, It’s a bittersweet ode to romance and the passing of time”. You can listen to Streets Been Talkin’ below.
