Leeds-based musician Ben Thomas’ new project Big Tide have just release ‘Half The Time’ the exciting debut single which is out now via Big Tide Recordings.

The song is has catchy indie pop rock sound that would have fitted in perfectly in the 60’s, 70’s or indeed the 90’s, with its jangly guitars and flowing tongue-in-cheek lyrics that get your foot tapping and your head bobbing. You can listen to ‘Half The Time’ below.

“We worked through the songs very quickly yet meticulously with Matt Johnson, which totally captured the live essence of Big Tide. The demos I wrote initially were in black and white and Matt brought them into full colour. Wait, three dimensional full colour. Now you can actually taste the songs. He’s a genius”, says big tide.
