From The Studio is a new feature here on The Alternative Nation. The premise of this new feature is simple – an Artist/Producer curates a playlist which includes up to 15 tracks by Artists/Bands that have influenced them in their life/career or that they simply just love.

The first instalment of From The Studio is curated by one of my favourite artists and someone I have been promoting since I discovered her over 10 years ago now when she was just getting started out in the industry – Mandi Perkins. Mandi was nice enough to take some time out of her busy schedule to put this playlist together to share the artists that moulded who she is not just as an artist but as a person.
