Polartropica exists in a weird but wonderful space that is like nobody else, but holds a close resemblance to that of The Flaming Lips. Blending electronic pop music with Asian influences and psychedelic swirls to make what is best described as Bubblegum Psychedelica.

I have featured Polartropica here on the blog before and wanted to hear more, now a year later I get to experience her beautiful new single ‘Wild Lyfe’. With soaring beautiful synths comes well balance percussion and beats that sweep you through that weird and wonderful but also magical world in which Polartropica inhabits.

This is new, fresh and modern but like most good music coming along these days evokes emotions and the spirit of the 90’s. Polartropica truly is one of the most unique and interesting artists that has ever fallen into my inbox and have presented to you here on The Alternative Nation.
